Design Plus Gallery presents the Super-Ellipse White Dining Table by Bruno Mathsson and Piet Hein for Fritz Hansen. The Super Elliptical Table (1968) takes its name from the super ellipse, a shape that merges oval and rectangle and came to be seen by the designers as the most visually pleasing shape for any number of applications. Seating six people, it has polished chrome legs and an easily cleaned white laminate top. This table is appropriate for use as a home dining table or an office conference or cafeteria table. Original design and licensed manufacture by Fritz Hansen. Visible wear is present with slight discoloration to the laminate but is overall in good vintage condition. Made in Denmark.
