There are three pieces to the unit, the Upper Cabinet that includes the pull-out secretary, the Lower Cabinet for storage, and the foot piece. They are sold together as a unit and further described below.
A rare find from the prestigious Artech collection by Hickory Kaylyn, designed by the influential Gear Design. This extraordinary, modular bar cabinet/secretary is a study in high-contrast luxury. The exterior is finished in rich, warm mahogany, opening to reveal a spectacular interior fully lined in shimmering Birdseye Maple—including the lower cabinet and storage areas. This clever, three-piece modular design offers exceptional versatility and ease of transport:
Top Section (Upper Cabinet): Features a mirrored back, two adjustable glass shelves, and two interchangeable Birdseye Maple shelves. It also houses the pull-out bar/desk surface and two small interior organizer drawers.
Middle Section (Lower Cabinet): Features a full length drawer and two doors opening into the spacious Birdseye Maple interior with one adjustable shelf also in birdseye.
Bottom Section (The Foot): A dedicated base/plinth that provides a sturdy, elegant foundation for the unit with classic rounded feet.
Outfitted with original hardware and the signature American Artech - 'Gear for Hickory Kaylyn' tag, this piece is as functional as it is beautiful.

Minor dings consistent with light use; three slight dings on the cabinet framing where the top and middle section come together (see photo). There is some even fading on right side. The Birdseye Maple interior is pristine. All original knobs are present. Note: The original interior fluorescent light is currently non-functional (likely a starter fuse issue, see photo) and is sold as-is; it is easily replaceable with modern LED lighting. The glides on the rounded feet are starting to crumble and should be replaced. The three-piece modularity makes this substantial cabinetry easy to move and install. However it is a heavy piece of furniture. less
