The model is the vintage English "English Country Scenes" produced by the historic British Anchor factory (est. 1884) in Longton, Staffordshire.
A modern vintage, with decoration under permanent glaze, acid-resistant and dishwasher-safe.
The decoration is in perfect "Cotswolds" style with bucolic scenes, country churches, ancient stone bridges, and lush paths.
All enclosed by a majestic frame of polychrome roses in shades of pink and powder blue.
Made between the late 1970s and early 1980s, this authentic English porcelain set boasts excellent preservation, maintaining the brilliance of the original colors.
