Straight out of a storybook — the kind of little clock you half expect to start talking to you. Carved from solid alabaster with soft honey and cream veining, set on two turned columnar legs over a rectangular pedestal base. Roman numeral dial with a brass bezel and original German key-wound movement stamped "Germany" on the back. She doesn't keep time anymore, but she was never really about punctuality — she's about presence. The translucent warmth of the stone, the miniature architectural proportions, the weight in your hand. Place her on a mantel, a bookshelf, or a bedside table and she'll be the thing everyone picks up and asks about.
