This elegant pair of vintage brass crane sculptures features beautifully elongated forms with detailed featherwork, stylized legs, and richly textured sunburst bases. The contrasting poses give the pair wonderful movement and personality, with one crane standing tall while the other bends gracefully downward.
I especially love the sculptural quality of the birds and the detailed featherwork - they give the figures a refined decorative presence while still feeling playful and organic. The warm aged brass finish works beautifully in Hollywood Regency, mid-century, chinoiserie, or eclectic interiors.
