Both chairs are solid and completely functional.
Outstanding woodgrains that look to be maybe Macassar or Ziricote, etc... We do not think this is Rosewood...
Chairs are fairly heavy in weight.
Chairs look to be nearly all mortise and tenon in their construction, and we believe they were most likely custom made for previous buyers in the past using this special wood.
They truly give off an Arts & Crafts or Mission style or energy, but they could easily mesh well with a Mid Century, Asian, Contemporary, or Modern interior design aesthetic as well.
I bought these chairs in the Seattle area from a very clean well kept original Craftsman home, however she was not the original owner of these chairs. They just went well with her Arts & Crafts style setup in her home...

Very minor wear or areas that may need a tiny bit of extra cleaning up may possibly be found or needed.
Most notably are very small thin hairline cracks in the wood in a few places. This seems completely natural being located here in an area here with temperatures/humidity that fluctuates, and the wood probably originating from someplace tropical (One is pictured. Look closely at back of the chair on the left side for another crack).
Rest assured, no hairline cracks are not having any effect on the structural integrity of the chairs, and they still look great!

Chairs measure roughly 33" wide X 21" deep X 40" tall
18" tall to the seat ... 25.5" tall to the arms
