Here we have a darling vintage smoked crystal English bulb or bud vase. This piece was hand blown by Wedgwood circa 1980 and is a Frank Thrower design. He was a founding member and designer for Dartington Glass in England, est. in 1966. He was influenced by Scandinavian glass design during the post-war years.
Stunning pewter grey 24% lead crystal. Wonderful curvy lines with nice heft for its petite size. Measures 4.25 inches tall, approximately 3 inches wide at the widest point of the base and 2.375 inches wide inside the top rim. Perfect for forcing smaller bulbs.
The original manufacturer's sticker is present and the vase is acid etched 'Wedgwood' on the bottom. Excellent clean condition with minimal signs of use. This vase would make a gorgeous addition to any crystal collection... thanks for looking!!! Box73
