The Italian art porcelain bowls are smooth, vibrant high-fire red with brilliant 24K gold "hammered" detail (embossed gilding). One of the bowls has a blue stamp, the other has a gold stamp. They aren’t exactly identical: the embossed gilding on the bowl with the gold stamp is not as distinct as the blue-stamped bowl (see photo); also the gilding on the blue-stamped bowl is more pronounced. Both bowls are in excellent condition, no chips, stains or cracks but they have some very slight discoloration just under the rim on the interior, especially the one with the blue stamp--this in no way detracts from the fabulousness of these rare Italian porcelain bowls. They are 5.25” high with a 3” diameter base and a 5” top diameter. A single bowl is listed at a design studio in Australia for $385. and elsewhere for $700. Porcellane Canova is widely recognized for its artistic designs, craftsmanship and hand-painted details.
