This exceptionally comfortable armchair was designed by Charles Pollock for Comforto and produced by Knoll. It is upholstered in beautiful brown leather with a lovely patina. The chair is in vintage condition, as pictured. The leather remains in very good condition. The chair swivels. Mid-20th-century elegance: The Executive Chair by Charles Pollock (1963) has been optimized for even greater comfort and can inspire great ideas in an ergonomically designed seat. Pollock, who worked in George Nelson's office after graduating from Pratt Institute, was admired by Florence Knoll for his exceptional talent. His Directional Chair is considered one of Knoll's most iconic designs, characterized by an aluminum frame that supports the seat and back both visually and structurally. Manufactured by Knoll to the designer's original and rigorous specifications. with a five-year manufacturer's warranty. Made in the USA.
