Finished in layered tones of warm caramel, espresso, and cream, the elongated forms feel somewhere between traditional library decor and midcentury sculpture. The expressive faces and softly blended glazing give them a slightly storybook quality — collected, moody, and quietly eccentric in the best way.

Styled with worn hardcovers or stacked on open shelving, they bring warmth and character without feeling overly formal. Particularly beautiful in darker studies, layered traditional interiors, or spaces leaning into that old-world collected aesthetic. Carries a very strong Hollywood Regency meets Grandmillenial vibe.

The glaze variation throughout both pieces adds depth and movement, especially where the darker tones feather into the cream-colored manes and faces. Each lion measures approximately 4.5" long, 6" tall and 2" deep.

In good vintage condition overall with age-related wear. One piece shows a visible crack/chip area on the underside/base edge as shown in photos. Displays well and is still materially strong. See less
