Mont’s history is a bit cloudy but they did come from a family of artists who lived in Turkey. Mont was discovered by a member of the Mafioso named Frankie Yale and thus the door opened for Mont to become the decorator for the mob. Mont’s furniture designs and this chair perfectly exemplify his ability to blend Deco, Hollywood Regency, and Modern into one-fold and are now classics.
