Italian marquetry bar carts became fashionable in the post-war era, often featuring detailed inlaid work work. These were hallmark Italian Mid-Century Modern and Hollywood Regency design.
All border bears intricate marquetry design work. The two-tiered surfaces each have ornate marquetry work. The top tier has built in glass, in case the drinks splash- and the bottom tier is that same baroque wood.
Top has a wooden handle that folds down, or can swing out to steer the unit around the room, conveniently made mobile on four German metal caster wheels.
A Stunning European piece from the 1940s- 1960s Europe (by the wheels, we believe it to be early 50s).
