A magnificent matched pair of "Grand" scale rose bowls in the iconic Heritage pattern by Princess House. Originally introduced in 1974, this pattern became the definitive example of the 1970s "Victorian Revival" movement. These vases take the classic 1950s balloon-globe silhouette and elevate it with a sophisticated, hand-etched floral motif.
The Pattern
The wheel-etched "cut-to-clear" design is a continuous rotation of:
Full-bloom Roses
Elegant upright Tulip Buds
Wispy Fern sprigs and oversized leaves
Each bowl features a vibrant ruby-red cranberry flashed finish, set atop a clear pedestal base with a classic "ball" stem and finished with a delicate ruffled (crimped) rim.
These pieces are in Excellent Vintage Condition. While they show modest, age-appropriate wear consistent with their 50-year history, the cranberry flashing remains saturated and brilliant. There are no chips, cracks, or "flea bites" to the glass or the delicate ruffled edges. A truly "collector-grade" matched set.
