A handsome pair of Louis XV–style bergère armchairs in warm walnut-toned carved wood, offered in very good condition. Each chair is a faithful expression of the 18th-century French form: a gently arched cartouche back, scrolled open arms, a generously cushioned seat, and elegant cabriole legs with characteristic pad feet. The serpentine seat rail is adorned with subtle carved detail throughout.

Both chairs are upholstered in a rich ikat-patterned fabric in tones of coral, dusty rose, sage, and cream — a pattern that complements the warmth of the wood beautifully and works equally well in traditional and eclectic interiors. Brass nail head trim finishes the back and arms with a refined, tailored touch. The upholstery is in excellent condition with no soiling, fading, or damage.
