Pair of Fauteuils a la Reine in newly upholstered cut velvet leopard with a black ribbon gimp and nailheads. Extremely large and very comfortable.
The photos show the gimp with nail heads which give the chairs a bit of their own identity, not just a simple welt, but a statement that sets them apart.
Original frames manufactured in the late 20th century have a very sophisticated patinated finish. The finish is custom and made to look old, which is really a very well done finish - beautifully crafted hadn't finish.
The handsome pair may well be the focal point or own a room that rarely sees action, or be the center piece of a den that has many different visitors. A compliment to spaces modern to traditional. The two stools are sold separately,, but are leopard and truly amazing.
