Antique elegant 18th Century Style Chairs (re-upholstered more recently, 1980s). Intricately carved wooden frame w/ classic Louis XVI column-like straight legs. Very pleasant. Sturdy, wide seating. Original light gilding with red highlights is rubbed/peeling off in places. Great shabby-chic look or to repaint. Some upholstery restoration needed.
CHAIR 1 - FRAME: Sturdy, well balanced, One nick on backrest; SEAT: Very firm seating, One light stain otherwise undamaged material; BACKREST: Not as firm, Upholstery undamaged, no stains, but edge sewing coming undone in one area
CHAIR 2 - FRAME: Slightly unsteady, One armrest lifting up a tad; SEAT: Very firm seating, Material undamaged; BACKREST: Not as firm, Upholstery undamaged but sewing coming undone in one area; BACK: Sewing undone down most of one side.
UNDERNEATH of both chairs no sagging and unharmed.
