Item features ornate cast frieze border of Bacchus, female mask heads, and classical mythological figures on stylized dolphin form legs. Tray further features a pierced border and Shield and Crest central engraving which reads "Gwell marw na chywilydd" which we believe is a Welsh phrase that translates to "Better death than dishonour".
