The piece features a terrestrial globe signed “Ludw. Jul. Heymann, Leipzig”, mounted on an elegant structure in gilt brass, all set upon a refined base of Belgian black marble. The globe is mechanically connected to the clock movement and rotates continuously, illustrating the passage of time in a dynamic and visually engaging way. The clock movement is French, signed “Vincent – Médaille d’Argent 1885”, and remains in working condition, complete with its bell and pendulum.
