Fabulous reverse painted glass tray featuring a vividly colorful peacock in dusty shades of bottle green, malachite and gold with cinnamon and black accents. Because of its eclectic look-and-feel, I’ve used this beauty as a whimsical objet d’art propped up on a painted black wooden stand atop a backlit tabletop but you can definitely utilize it for its intended purpose, an eye-catching tray, at your next gathering!

This beauty measures 12¾” x 10” x 1¼” and weighs 2 lbs. 6 oz. Mediums used are glass and paint, and of course, talent for proper execution. In excellent condition with age-appropriate wear on the backside that does not affect its beauty or utility. Unknown artisan and place of origin.

Reverse painted glass has an unexpected depth to it and it almost seems to glow when illuminated. Each piece is done back to front: details painted first, then larger color areas and finally a background color. Unique materials create truly one-of-a-kind pieces to elevate the look and feel of your home.
