Originally … Read more An antique American Victorian figural table lamp, crafted circa 1890, showcasing a harmonious blend of brass and silver-gilt bronze. Originally an oil lamp, the piece has been professionally converted to electric, offering both historical charm and modern functionality. The central font features intricate figural relief work depicting cherubs or putti amidst classical motifs, demonstrating the fine craftsmanship characteristic of the late 19th century. The lamp's column is fluted, rising from a robust square base adorned with classical faces and ornate scrollwork, resting on four decorative paw feet. Crowning the lamp is a spherical glass shade, hand-painted with delicate blue floral patterns and foliage, transitioning from white to a soft blue at the top and bottom. The wick adjustment knob is clearly inscribed with "MADE IN AMERICA" and "U.S.A.".
