An elegant and highly decorative Limoges porcelain lidded box, crafted by William Guerin & Co. and executed in the refined Sevres style.
This oval form features a celeste blue ground richly accented with gilding and fine hand-painted polychrome enamels.
The central cartouche depicts a charming romantic Versailles Louis the 14th Royal courtly scene with finely dressed figures, musicians and dancers rendered with delicate detail and framed by ornate gilt borders. The rim is further enhanced with blue and gold trim, emphasizing its luxurious presentation.
Marked “PERIAM,” this piece dates to the late 19th–early 20th century, during the renowned Limoges production period.
