For the serious collector of Bohemian art glass: A stunning, museum-quality perfume bottle from the legendary Ingrid Line, produced by Henry Schlevogt in collaboration with designer Heinrich Hoffmann (c. 1934-1939).
This specific example was curated for the luxury American market by the premier importer Irving W. Rice & Co. (Irice), featuring their signature jeweled brass filigree collar.
The Rare "Skyscraper" Base: Crafted in opaque Jet Black Hyalith glass. While the Malachite green versions are more common, the jet black "stone glass" was the elite choice of the Art Deco era for its obsidian-like finish.
Intaglio Rose Stopper: A masterpiece of 1930s mold-work.
The "reverse-carved" rose creates a vivid 3D effect when viewed through the frosted glass—a hallmark of Hoffmann’s design genius.
The "Holy Grail" Condition: Most 1930s Czech bottles have lost their glass wands over the last 90 years. This piece retains its original, undamaged glass dauber/applicator, significantly increasing its value and rarity.
Jeweled Provenance: The brass filigree collar is tight and features a period-correct turquoise cabochon, identifying this as an authentic Irice import.
Excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks to the intaglio stopper or the glass wand. The "skyscraper" base shows appropriate hand-polishing and authentic "shelf wear" to the underside, consistent with a pre-war 1930s original (not a modern Desna reissue).
