There is significant all over loss to the gilt finish and the darker under paint is showing through. The sconce has been broken and has a very old repair. The left hand side was at one time completely broken off and has been repaired. The last 2 photos show the visible crack from the front. The old repair is visible from the back. This was also wired for electric at one point and there are still some old wire remnants. less
