Design Plus Gallery presents a Late 20th Century Antiqued Tile Wall Mirror in Verre Églomisé Frame. Verre Églomisé is an ancient, refined technique involving reverse-side gilding and painting on glass to create a mirrored, decorative finish. Popularized by 18th-century French decorator Jean-Baptiste Glomy, the frame has a dreamy golden tone that only this method can provide. Each corner of the frame has a golden rosette. Within the frame are mirror tiles that are in a grid that all have an antiqued look. The beautiful mirror is in good condition for its usage with wear that is intentional and sought after.
