Remarkable pair of Gustavian-style painted chairs from Northern Europe The chair frames are very solid, possibly made of oak, and feature a tall rounded back, rounded seat, and rounded arms.
The original paint is green with normal signs of age which include some chipping and general wear. The floral tapestry upholstery is new and works well with the color of the frames.
These chairs are estimated to be late 19th to early 20th century.
