This listing is for a large Swedish wall clock.
This clock was made in the Gustavian style with a gilt wood cartel frame.
The clock dates to the 1940s and was made by Union-Stjärnsund. Union-Stjärnsund was a company that created fine time pieces in the style of their Gustavian predecessors.
The clock has ornate ornamentation throughout, and glassed in sides and front, allowing one to view the pendulum as it sways.
The movement is an 8 day time and bell strike. It was last serviced in 2019. It ran when recently tested. The bell has a nice tone.
The clock is in overall good condition. Some signs of normal wear present. A few blemishes to the gilding from age. This is quite normal for these types of clocks.
The entire clock measures about 33 x 18 x 5 inches
