The top displays exposed dovetails along its join with the sides. A bold ogee molding pinned in place makes an attractive crown. The drawer fronts are plain, with wooden knobs and decorative zinc escutcheon plates. The wood has a nice grain pattern with even color and only very small knots. The front corners are decorated with fluted molding with an elongated pyramid applique at its base and and capped with a carved corbel of stylized acanthus leaf and seed pods. Hand-polished to a golden honey glow. See less
