Each chair is crafted from steam-bent beechwood, showcasing Thonet’s signature sculptural lines—continuous wraparound arms, curved back supports, and a circular underframe stretcher that reinforces the structure. The fluidity of the bentwood construction reflects the technical precision and timeless modernist sensibility associated with Thonet production. The frames have been structurally revised in our workshop to ensure they are solid, stable, and ready for everyday use. The wood has been carefully cleaned and refinished, enhancing the warm, natural brown patina while preserving the character of the original material. Newly upholstered in a soft willow green velvet, the seats and backs introduce a fresh, tailored contrast to the richness of the bentwood frames. The upholstery follows the natural curvature of the chairs, maintaining the integrity of the original design while elevating comfort and usability. Very good condition overall, with light, age-appropriate surface wear and subtle character marks consistent with use. Structurally sound and ready for placement. Well suited for use as dining armchairs, desk chairs, or accent seating.
