This is an exceptional Mid-Century Modern Aldo Londi for Bitossi ceramic set of three pieces, with a box, and two … Read more This is an exceptional Mid-Century Modern Aldo Londi for Bitossi ceramic set of three pieces, with a box, and two vide poche or catchalls. The pieces were meticulously crafted in Italy circa 1960. This rare ensemble is imported and distributed in the United States by Rosenthal Netter. The trio features a round lidded box, a medium sized ashtray, and a large ashtray. Each piece features an abstract geometric design with alternating striped patterns in orange, yellow, and black-brown colors. Each piece is signed with the original paper label from the Rosenthal Netter company on the underside, with an additional engraving of "Italy" and a large "R" in block letters on the bottom of both ashtrays.
Dimensions:
Box: 7.07 in wide (18 cm) by 7.07 in deep (18 cm) by 3.94 in high (10 cm).
Medium bowl: 8.25 in wide (21 cm) by 8.25 in deep (21 cm) by 1.75 in high (4.5 cm).
