Offered is an Art Deco era cantilever lounge chair featuring a tubular chrome steel frame and upholstered in classic black naugahyde. Designed in the Springer style, the chair has the characteristic floating cantilever form that creates a slight flex for comfort while maintaining the sleek Machine Age aesthetic.
The design is in the manner of Wolfgang Hoffmann and KEM Weber and was manufactured by Royal Metal. Its clean industrial lines, polished chrome structure, and minimalist upholstery make it a strong example of early modernist Art Deco seating from the 1930s.
