Add a vibrant pop of mid-century charm to your kitchen or dining room with this stunning Portuguese Majolica fruit topiary basket. Handcrafted by the renowned Secla studio in Caldas da Rainha, this vintage 1960s–70s piece is a quintessential example of "barbotine" ceramic artistry.
The two-piece set features a deep emerald green base with an intricate basket-weave texture, topped by a lid overflowing with a lush "topiary" of hand-painted fruits—including a watermelon slice, bananas, grapes, and an apple—all resting on a bed of naturalistic green leaves. This is a substantial, high-quality ceramic piece weighing over 6 pounds, perfect as a decorative centerpiece, a unique cookie jar, or a tabletop tureen.
