Italian circa 1930s 800 silver center bowl. High style Art Deco motif of the satyr attending the water Nymph or bather. Extra-large scallop-shaped bowl with three scrolled feet and a nude bather stepping into the water, and the satyr hanging in rapt attention to the bather. a theme popular in the period. Beautifully formed bowl and chased handle. A hallmark is seen on the shell edge, showing 800 and an illegible maker's mark.
Measurements are 17" wide by 14.5 deep. The figure stands 5"tall.
The weight of the bowl is 68 ounces.
