Vintage Chinese elm wedding cabinet / prosperity cabinet with carved panel doors and original bronze hardware. Strong, architectural piece with a really nice warm tone and grain throughout.
Carved with traditional Chinese auspicious calligraphy motifs symbolizing prosperity, longevity, and good fortune.
Interior has been fitted with a hanging rod, so it works well as a wardrobe or armoire. Still keeps its traditional look on the outside, but much more usable for modern storage. Lower drawers add extra space.
Upper drawer is decorative.
Solid, heavy piece that works as a statement in a bedroom, entry, or living space.
