-Made in Mexico; the tradition of ironwood (palo fierro) carving originated with the Seri indigenous people
-Crafted from rich, dark ironwood, this piece features a beautifully detailed, natural grain and a smooth, polished finish
-The wood itself is extremely dense and heavy, coming from the Olneya tesota tree, which grows slowly in the desert climate
