This listing is for an antique grandfather clock.
This clock is of Scottish origin and dates to the early 19th century.
It features a flamed mahogany case with gothic revival detailing on the sides.
The dial has ornate hand-painted scenes depicting the seasons.
This clock was made by William Houston of Glasgow, Scotland.
The clock appears to be in overall good condition. The coloring is still vibrant. Some signs of normal wear and age present. 1 small chip to the back left lower edge. 1 piece of trim underneath the hood appears to be a replacement (not noticeable as hood covers it). Untested as this clock is missing its weights and pendulum.
