Each coaster displays the distinctive translucent shimmer and organic veining that makes capiz shell such a prized decorative material.
Capiz pieces were widely produced in the Philippines during the mid-century period and became especially popular in Hollywood Regency interiors, where their soft iridescence paired beautifully with brass and gold finishes.
