It is painted a rich green that changes in the light, which I would describe as somewhere in between Emerald and Teal, in a manner that reveals the brushstrokes and is not uniform in thickness or opacity. The long front drawer and three table edges are delicately hand-painted in a vining floral pattern that I interpret as blue Morning Glories and yellow Buttercups. The details of shading, variations from flower to flower, and the fine, undulating lines of the vines are artistically applied by a skilled hand. This beautiful piece of more recently painted Folk Art furniture will be a cherished heirloom well into the future. See less

The second-to-last photo shows two pennies on the tabletop above the repair to mark the location, which is between and below the pennies, where a lighter variation in color is a result of the repair. The very last image shows a vertical crack in the wood above one back leg, which we believe is a natural result of the wood drying and curing over time that does not affect the stability. Other minor flaws are two dark spots on the tabletop that are visible in multiple downward-facing photos of the table, and one small chip in the paint along the scalloped edge above the right drawer knob, visible in multiple photos. less
