A Chinese, ceramic decorative fishbowl form, circa 1940-1950's. Bright pink, aqua and yellow Greek key design around lip. Koi fish painted on interior with seagrass. Elaborate depictions of a family ceremony. Decorations abound with birds, flowers, books and people, possibly celebrating learning or schooling activities. Ceramic glaze shows a crisp white background , upon which bright colors and gilt finish shine. See less
