Circa Approx 1880s. … Read more This Really is an Absolutely Beautiful and Quite Rare Authentic Antique Victorian Majolica Basket. Rare Sunflower Design. Circa Approx 1880s. LARGE SIZE - Measures Approx 11 3/4 inches Long x 7 inches Tall x 5 1/2 inches Wide. It has a High Gloss Glaze with Classic Victorian Majolica Colors. It also has Very Fine Detail in the Molded - Embossed Tree Branch - Sunflower & Leafs Etc Features. It has No Markings but it is Most Likely American in Origin. It Displays Very Nicely but PLEASE NOTE That It has Some Old Repairs - Restorations on One Side to the Handle & Side Top Rim Areas - These Can Best be Seen in the Last 2 Photographs in my Listing. NOTE Also that it has a Surface Factory Flaw - Raised Dimple in the Basin at the Same Area as the Repairs but This Would Have Occurred in The Making - Kiln Firing Process.
