The sculptural base features elegant scrolling legs connected by a twisted iron stretcher, giving the piece its distinctive character and graceful silhouette.

The frame is finished by hand in softly aged gilt, creating warmth and subtle variation reminiscent of an antique surface. A striped ticking upholstered seat adds a relaxed, tailored contrast to the decorative ironwork.
