ABOUT
A pair of beautifully patinated, molded copper antique nautical ship lanterns, specifically designed as navigation lights. These types of lanterns were historically essential for maritime communication, with red lenses typically indicating the port (left) side and green lenses indicating the starboard (right) side of a vessel. They feature thick, molded Fresnel glass lenses designed to project light over long distances, removable red and green lenses and topped with solid brass carrying handles.
