Design Plus Gallery presents the Etch Pendant Light by Tom Dixon. Inspired by the logic of pure mathematics, the Etch range explores geodesic form through razor thin digitally etched metal sheets. The perforated surface creates a complex pattern that filters illumination and casts intricate shadows when lit. Formed from finely pierced flat metal panels tabbed together in the manner of Victorian tin toys, the pendant reflects Tom Dixon’s interest in precision, geometry, and industrial process. This example retains its sculptural faceted silhouette and graphic openwork surface. It is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
