Offering a beautiful vintage hand painted porcelain and pewter bowl made for Neiman Marcus, circa 1970s. It is signed on the bottom: Neiman Marcus - Made in China. This bowl is quite heavy for its size. See dimensions and weight below.
The bowl is hand painted in the traditional "Chinese Enamelware" heavily textured glaze. It depicts a hidden tiger surrounded by beautiful birds of paradise flowers in a lush jungle scene. The bowl is encased in solid pewter on the bottom..
VERY GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION. The pewter portion of the bowl does have scratches, mostly on the bottom commensurate with age. The porcelain portion is perfect.
A beautiful piece suited for a Tropical, Coastal or Boho Chic Decor that loves to incorporate animals and colorful floral accessories into their interior design motifs.
