The set is comprised of … Read more An exceptional and rare set of six labeled "Stiletto" dining chairs designed by Holly Hunt. The set is comprised of four side chairs and two armchairs. The chairs are constructed in dark walnut and parchment-toned leather upholstery. The elusive chairs are inspired by the mid-century modern works of Jean-Michel Frank. The sleek modern design is architectural with crisp rectilinear lines, subtly angled backs, and elegantly tapered slender legs. The dramatic armchairs feature open squared arms, adding to the modern linear silhouette, while the side chairs maintain the same disciplined silhouette in a lighter profile. The deep espresso wood stain and light parchment toned upholstery create a smooth and polished contrast. The chairs are strong and robust with mortise-and-tenon joinery. The leather padded seats are filled with foam for comfort. Holly Hunt maker's plaques are present on the bottoms of the seats. The armchairs measure 21.5" wide, 25" deep, 35.5" tall, with 25" tall arms. The side chairs measure 20" wide, 24" deep, and 35" tall. Both chairs have seat heights of 19". The chairs are in exceptional condition as seen in photos. From an estate in San Francisco, CA. Sold as a set of six.
