A Nice Set of Rustic Pennsylvania Paint Decorated Arrow-Back Kitchen Windsor Chairs, Circa 1830’s
Pennsylvania, probably Lancaster County, circa 1820-1840
Early arrow-back kitchen Windsor chairs, with a plank seat.
Well work and well used original painted surface, lots of age consistent wear.
Grey/green base paint with floral decorations.
Size: 18” wide, 15 1/2” deep, 32” tall, and a 17” seat height.
Condition: well worn. Lots of patina. Age related paint wear, scuffs, abrasions. See pictures. One chair is missing a spindle in the stretcher. I am having a new one made. will post a picture when it's complete.
