This piece is part of a matching 4 piece dining Set, with the other pieces also listed for sale individually. The table set does not have the Berkey & Gay makers mark that I can see, however it is clearly from the same set as the other pieces that do have it. The table and chairs are all hand carved on solid walnut with beautiful detail throughout. There are two huge extentions that slide out and pop up through the bottom of the table. Each extension is nearly half the size of the standard table, meaning the table is nearly doubled in size when extended. The table can also support one extension at a time if desired to give it a medium length opposed to both being extended. The set has 6 chairs, with two of which being arm chairs. The chair measurments are listed below. The side chairs have a very detailed wood backing, while the arm chairs are upholstered. The entire set was recently professionally refinished and really looks amazing in person. All of the upholstery was redone when the furniture was restored, and all perfectly match. The upholstery has no rips or tears, but there may be some very small spots of staining / imperfections from normal use, but hard to notice if any. Set may have some very small imperfections just from normal use and being about 100 years old. The longer you look the more intricate details you continue to notice. It is both a piece of furniture and art.
