Juan Marcelo is a recognized ceramic artisan from Xalitla, Guerrero, a community in Mexico's Alto Balsas region famous for its traditional folk art. This is a very rare large piggy bank in the popular black and white lined storytelling tradition of Xalitla. Measure 12"L x 8.5"H x 6"W at its widest points. From the 1990s.
I'm a collector and interior decorator who's downsizing my own personal items. All are from a non-smoking home.
