Stickley dates to the early 20th century, circa 1910. The chair features a bold rectilinear form with classic ladder-back slats, wide paddle arms, and sturdy box stretcher construction. Crafted from solid quartersawn oak, the frame showcases the signature warm fumed finish characteristic of Stickley’s work.

The original branded tag 'The Work of L. & J.G. Stickley' is clearly visible on the back stretcher, confirming its provenance. The seat retains its vintage leather upholstery, which should be updated, adding to the chair’s rustic character.
