Design Plus Gallery presents the Counterpoise Task Floor Lamp from Restoration Hardware. Inspired by the counterpoise designs developed in Paris in the 1920s, this adjustable floor lamp pairs an articulated arm with a weighted balance element and a metal dome shade. The silhouette is linear and architectural, while the round base and slender support rods give the piece a measured industrial presence. Finished in a dark bronze-tone metal, the lamp includes a foot switch and visible maker labels. This is a discontinued model with the brand and is in good condition with visible and minimal wear from usage.
