A charming pair of antique English Silver Plate sugar baskets dating to the late Victoria/ early Edwardian period, circa 1880-1910. Each features a classical form with pedestal base, swing handle, and finely engraved decorative banding with a central cartouche. The interiors retain a warm gilt wash, traditionally used for serving sugar. Though similar in style, the two are not an exact match - making them a beautifully collected and authentic pairing ideal for display, entertaining, or use as decorative centerpieces
